June 22, 2024 – A new over-the-counter cream for treating common eyelid bumps and growths has demonstrated significant efficacy in recent clinical trials, according to an announcement from the product’s manufacturer. The cream, called EyeBright, was found to reduce the size and appearance of various types of eyelid bumps, including chalazia, styes, and xanthelasma, by an average of 68% in a double-blind, placebo-controlled study of over 300 participants.
